Lazer Eyewear Technology!

RX adaptor

This is a smaller frame that fits behind the lens and can hold prescription lenses. This way you can wear prescription cut lenses and enjoy your Lazer sunglass.

Photochromic Lens Technology

Lazer Sport Photochromic Lenses adjust automatically to changing light conditions allowing one lens to be used throughout the day. The Crystal Photo lens changes from 75% to 25% light transmission for overcast conditions and riding into the evening. The Mela Photo lens changes from 31% to 12% light transmission and features Lazer’s Melanin Technology. This lens is ideal for morning rides into full sun conditions.

Panorama Lens Technology

Lazer Sport introduces Panorama Lenses with Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision. Panorama lenses enhance and widen the field of clear vision to provide the wearer a sharper, clearer view as the eye moves from the center of the lens to the outer edge.

Optivent Lens Venting System

Lens vents combined with contours in the frame keep air moving to decrease fogging and keep the wearer cool.

Melanin Technology

Lazer Sport introduces its Melanin injected lens technology. Synthetic Melanin developed with BNL Eurolenses is injected into the lens providing sun protection equivilant to 140 spf sunscreen. These lenses also filter blue light to eliminate optical blurring and hazyness.

Spring Has Sprung!

Back from Oklahoma and some changes are currently being made! First I'll start with the store hours. Monday only the maintenance shop around back will be open and those hours will be 9:30am - 4:00pm. This is the day where I get to concentrate solely on my repairs without interruptions so Mondays are the days when I will complete all of my more time consuming repairs. This will allow me to do all the quick 'n easy things like tire and tube work and adjustments on the spot throughout the week without having to re-arrange current repairs. I expect this will make things much better for us all!

Secondly, Lazer Sport has just released their sunglasses line to the public! These shades are terrific! I got a sneak peek of them in Utah last July. I have an order en route this week (probably tomorrow). These will primarily be to display and I will be placing orders for anyone wanting some. This way, I will be able to gauge demand and build up inventory accordingly (don't worry, I can have them here in a week normally and sometimes in as short as 3 days). For the inconvenience of having to order them, I am taking 15% off of allLazer Sunglasses orders from now through the month of April. You can still purchase the ones I will have in store, but the 15% off will only apply to orders.

We are also preparing to sell Country Ground's roasted coffee beans here! This should be happening in the next few days to a week! I miss Dave's coffee so much so if you're like me, check in the shop soon to get yourself loaded up! I can't wait to smell the sweet aroma!!!

Lastly, as you read this there may still be a few openings for Odin's Revenge, Gothenburg's first annual gravel race!! Check the "Events" tab for details!

Don't forget to check our supplements supply!

Monday, March 5, 2012

I will be gone to Oklahoma for a wedding from Thursday March 8 and returning Monday March 12. The shop will likely be open still on Friday and Saturday. My family is going to try and help me out but no guarantees! I am going to leave you all with a AWESOMELY delicious recipe I came across and very successfully attempted. You can alter this recipe to make many different flavors so have fun!

No Bake Energy Bars
4 Cups of oats
4 Cups of cereal (we used cocoa puffs for this recipe for the kiddos)
1 Cup of filler (we used chocolate chips but you can use nuts, raisins, etc)
2 Cups of sweetener (I used Wardyn's fresh organic honey and strongly recommend. The person I got this from suggested things like corn syrup or mapel syrup.)
1 1/2 Cups of peanut butter
Salt to taste (mine needed no salt)

Heat the sweetener and peanut butter over medium and combine the remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the heated sweetener mix. Pour into a large pan. Refrigerate.

Cut into 2" by 2" squares. This makes each serving about 250 calories and 40 grams of carbs. A perfect dose for 60 minutes on the bike but also makes for a GREAT snack. =) Probably use something like grape nuts instead of cocoa puffs and raisins instead of choco chips if you're shooting for something healthier.
After careful consideration, I decided to make changes to our website. I am no longer selling online. I will utilize this more basic, yet still very functional website until the need arises for the more elaborate, and costly, alternative. I will continue to use Facebook as the primary means for conveying current events and a majority of the shop information. www.FaceBook.com/goodlifecycles Thanks for your understanding!
